I have to do things in order? Alright. I even bother to keep my main survival world in a separate directory. If you check version on F3 it says nothing about 1.12.2. The problems occur when upgrading from 1.10.2.
Well, maybe you should've been a bit more verbose...
What happens, when you upgrade 1.10.2 -> 1.12.2 -> 18w22c ? If the error is persisting, please attach the launcher log of the 18w22c run.
