The bug
Trying to recreate a 1.13 world in 1.12 causes crashes and unexpected behavior. Expected would be that exceptions are caught and that a warning is displayed, similar to the one which appears when opening a world created in a future version.
This report is completely valid because it does not require any game downgrading.

How to reproduce
Create a world in 17w50a or a newer version
Start the launcher in 1.12.2 release, re-create the world that you just created in a future version
→ Your game will crash.[media][media]Start the launcher in 1.12.2, notice that, although you just crashed, the game did re-create that world for you.
Enter the re-created world.
→ Your game will crash.[media]
⚠️ Note: The crash as described seems to occur with Void worlds.
I don't get the exact crash outcome if I test it with other premade customized worlds.
Note the "Block being updated" referring to "tile.cocoa".

Yes I recall FVbico wrote in MC-123218:
"The superflat generator format version changed, previously it has the version 3 [...] recreating worlds copies the exact string that the original had, making the generation not work."
Still, it's just Void crashing in that particular way 🙂
Stop asking already, how many times did I already tell you that you mods/helpers can do whatever you please with my bugposts, even more so as I'm well aware how much I suck at describing some issues in short };]
I'm very much grateful for that, as it also simplifies stuff for the Devs, as they got already only few time to read over bugposts, so, really, stop worrying if it's about me/bugposts I personally host 😉
Thank you, and have a good New Year, in case we don't cross paths anymore 🙂
Odd thing to do, but I can confirm 🙂
I think the world presets do have a version number already, maybe this needs to be increased in 1.13?
Or possibly 1.12.2 doesn't ignore/warn on versions it doesn't know?
