When trying to place Torch / Redstone Torch while right clicking tallgrass (plant) with solid block behind places the torch incorrectly and dependently on your posittion / direction in which you are looking / where the crosshair is.
Steps to reproduce:
Find spot / place tallgrass in front of solid block (For example - Grass block);
Try to place a Torch / Redstone torch while right-clicking on different places with the crosshair (on the tallgrass);
Moving close, then away have different impact on the placing (again - depend where the crosshair is);
When replacing a block the directions it tries to place the block in are based on the direction you are looking in most, so if you were looking down most it'd try to place it standing first.
