When i try to go on a minecraft world/server the game just crash

The game crash when i go on a multiplayer server

How do I switch to survial mode

I cannot break any blocks in Adventure mode

i cannot break or mine any blocks in minecraft

i do not get destroyed or put out some blocks

I can not put out or built blocks

When I updated to Minecraft 1.9 so worked just fine so I went out of the server and into and now there is this Bug.

The problem is that the lines are very wrong.
