My minecraft launcher will not open and I have already tried to redownload it and relog into it. Anyone got any tips on how to fix this issue?

When I join my friends world with a costume skin that we downloaded it doesn't show up, instead it shows Steve. This has been going on for a while now

I bought the animals by everblossom or something in market place and I was signed in and I signed in today and it said it’s locked because I haven’t paid for it. But I did. So I’m really mad and there’s no where except this to complain about it.
